Dear Parents,
Our school is hoping to set up an after-school Homework Club. As this is a new initiative, we would like to see how many families would be interested in taking part. Please read the information below and if you are interested, contact homeworkclubmns@gmail.com by Thursday 28th November.
Homework Club:
- Homework Club gives each child the opportunity to complete their homework in a quiet and suitable environment, where they are free from the normal distractions of home.
- The club is supervised at all times by one of our teachers.
- The teacher will listen to all children reading, and revise spellings and times-tables with them.
- Homework Club will run from 3pm – 4pm Monday – Thursday each week. It will be available to children from 1st – 6th class.
- If children finish their homework before the hour has elapsed, they will be encouraged to engage in quiet activities such as reading, studying, art etc.
- A rate of 7euro per hour (to be paid each day) or 20euro per week (to be paid on
Monday) will be charged.
